Become a Health Coach
There are three ways to practise with us. Read what each one means, then apply for the one that matches how you work.
What joining means
You sign up to be on our platform. Whichever option you choose, you get:
- a business listing in our coach directory;
- our terms of agreement, which you sign before taking your first client;
- a platform listing donation and a contribution to the marketing budget that promotes you and Natural Health Science, both set out in the agreement;
- the ability to add helpers, partners and employees to your team.
Your responsibilities
You take full responsibility for keeping your papers, licences and insurance current, and for whatever liabilities arise from coaching your patients. All of your paperwork must be legal for you to hold an account with us.
Natural Health Science (NHS) protocols
Your application must demonstrate your understanding of NHS protocols: rest, fasting, whole plant food, water, sunlight, movement and a calm mind. You also agree to tell every patient clearly when what you give them is an NHS protocol, and to tell them just as clearly when something is not an NHS protocol.
Review and panel decision
Every application goes through a thorough review, and a panel makes the decision. Approval is never automatic. We will contact you once the panel has decided.
How payments work
For IMANAH-programme coaching, IMANAH processes all customer payments. Each month the system generates your payout invoice for 80% of what your services earned (a 10% platform fee plus a 10% marketing contribution, per the Independent Practitioner Agreement). You review, sign and submit the invoice from your Revenue page, and submitted invoices are paid in daily batches during the first week of the following month.
Choose how you practise
Independent registered business
Your practice is a business registered with the government (for example a limited company or a registered firm). You are listed under your business name in the Health Coaches directory, your clients pay your business directly, and you set your own services and prices.

Sole proprietorship
You practise under your own name without a separately registered company. You are listed in the Health Coaches directory, your clients pay you directly, and you set your own services and prices. You carry the same responsibilities as a registered business.

IMANAH Health Coach
You practise under IMANAH's name as an independent contractor, not an employee. You are listed in the IMANAH Coaches directory, clients pay IMANAH, and IMANAH pays you your share. You may also run your own practice on the platform separately.
- All the necessary IMANAH training, completed
- Demonstrated experience in the field: training alone is not enough
- Your certificates, and your own insurance and registrations
Not a coach, or more than a coach?
Offer other natural health products or services, for example nursing, massage therapy, TONA kits, books or other natural health products. You are listed on the Businesses page, after the same review as any business. Whatever you offer must still be related to Natural Health Science (NHS).
